The Granite Shop - About the Owners

The Granite Shop was formed in early 2002 to serve the ever-increasing demand for high quality granite countertops in the Atlanta metro area. We began simply by importing a few select colors of pre-cut granite "blanks" which were supposed to be a fast-and-inexpensive method to supply granite countertops. We quickly realized that the pre-cut pieces greatly limited the number of designs and color options that we could offer with natural stone. In early 2003, we strengthened our relationships with our stone importers and began to stock many additional stone colors. Today, we have grown into a full-service granite fabricator capable of handling virtually any design - large or small - with a nearly endless choice of granite and other natural stones.

e-mail Jeff Sheiner	Jeff has an MBA from Wake Forest University as well as Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has worked in a variety of engineering, quality, and management roles for major corporations over the past twelve years. Jeff manages sales, accounting, and quality assurance for *The Granite Shop*.

e-mail Mark Meriaux	Mark has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University. He has worked for many Atlanta-based companies with experience including mechanical equipment sales, commercial contracting (sales and project management), and sales and support for electrical power generation equipment. Mark oversees all of the production and installations completed by *The Granite Shop*.
